Qualifications
​
I hold the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), Core Strand, Residential Lending Strand, Life and Health Insurance Strand, Investment Strand.
Mortgages
I will assess your financial situation and recommend a lender based on your goals and objectives. I may also be able to help you maintain your loan, for example assisting you with re-fixing your loan.
Upfront mortgage commissions are calculated as a percentage of the loan at drawdown. Ongoing commissions are based on the loan outstanding at the relevant time. Below are the lenders I work with, and their commission rates.

Fees
Generally you won’t be charged fees for the financial advice I provide. However, I may charge you a one-off fee if the following occurs:

I do not receive a commission from the lender. Any such fee would be agreed and authorised by you in writing before I complete the services and based based on the estimated time spent providing the advice.

My commission has to be repaid to the lender (called a clawback). Lenders can require me to repay my commission. The fee would not exceed the amount of commission that needs to be repaid to the lender. You will be invoiced for any one-off fee and will be given 30 days to make payment. Clawbacks are triggered when a loan is partially for fully repaid, or moved to another lender within 28 days of the draw down date. Fees are based on how much time was spent working on your loan, at an hourly rate of $250.

​KiwiSaver
​
​Zenvest provides you with financial advice in relation to KiwiSaver. You will not be charged for advice from a Zenvest financial adviser. We work with the following KiwiSaver providers who pay us for our services.

Insurance
​
You will have the option of being referred to one of your insurance partners. They will analyse your insurance needs and help you apply for and choose cover that is suitable for your purpose. They will also support you at claim time. For our existing insurance clients, we work directly with Asteron, Fidelity Life, AIA and Chubb.

Conflicts of interest
I follow a six-step advice process to ensure my recommendations based on your goals and needs. Conflicts of interest are recorded and regularly monitored. We manage conflicts of interest by prioritising your interests above our own.
Privacy policy
The personal information we collect is used in accordance with our privacy policy.
Specialist advice
You seek advice from a lawyer in relation to any property purchase or refinance. You should also consult an accountant about potential tax implications if you are purchasing an investment property.

I give the Zenvest authority to act on my behalf with lenders in respect of obtaining a loan.

If my circumstances change, I am still responsible for making loan repayments. In the event of my death, my estate is responsibility for loan repayments or paying off any loan balance.

I confirm that any information I have provide will be true and correct.

I agree the circumstances in which I may need to pay fees to the financial adviser.

My personal information will be used by Zenvest, lenders, product providers, credit reporting agencies, Illion bank statements, referrers and other parties in accordance with their privacy policies.

I am responsible for meeting legal costs, bank fees and valuation costs relating to obtaining a loan.
